The art of decoupage is very unique and can give individuality and add value to any household item.  You can give a new life to a cherished or loved piece of furniture or fabric, bedding, cushions, etc. Simply put, it is decorating with applications cut out of paper, trying to imitate painting.

Often moving from one place to another, we bought used household items with the idea that they may be discarded later. These became very worn out and scratched.  So out of love of my surroundings I started to practice découpage and how to turn defects into treasure. Here is some of my work.
